Pinterest Inspired Crayon Art

September 6, 2012 | Category: blog train, Home, homeschool

Anyone who is on pinterest has likely seen the really nifty melted crayon art. I think it was one of the first things that I pinned, and let me tell you, I have pinned a LOT. This past weekend I decided to bite the bullet and drag out crayons and get Jacob to bring out a canvas board he was given out of my grandfather’s things. We decided to go with traditional rainbow colors. We lined them up, hot glued them and then Jacob went to work on melting the crayons with the hair dryer. We love the result! After letting it dry over night, it now has a place on a shelf in our living room.

It definitely has me itching to take on some of my other pinned projects. If only there was an endless amount of time and money, eh? 🙂

Hello Melissa. I found your blog on pinterest today when you repinned one of my Disney posts.

What an interesting blog you have, but why haven’t you written since September?

I am a school teacher myself, and I love the crayon melting art project. Will do this after our Spring Break this week.

Hope you add to your blog and I hope your homeschooling is moving right along toward June!

Hello Del! Thanks so much for stopping by. We’ve had an awful lot going on over the past year, so it isn’t for lack of things to talk about, I assure you. I will do my best to get back to “work” adding things we have been up to. Thanks again for the kind words, and I hope you will stop by again soon when I finally update. 🙂

I currently am not designing digital scrapbooking kits. Thank you for your interest though! I do however occasionally work on S4O/S4H projects, so if there is a project you would like me to consider, please email me at cpkmelissa at gmail dot com.
